Aquis Search is currently assisting our client, a premier law firm, in their search for a Principal Associate to join their Employment Law practice in Mumbai.

Responsibilities

Handle complex employment law matters, including litigation, advisory services related to M&A deals, asset transfers, and standalone legal issues.

Conduct comprehensive employment law audits and execute due diligence, both independently and as part of M&A transactions.

Advise companies on best employment practices and statutory compliance.

Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements and policies.

Represent clients in employment-related disputes and litigation.

Provide guidance on workforce restructuring, employee terminations, and workplace investigations.

Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring client compliance.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience working in a reputed law firm.

Extensive experience in various aspects of employment law, including litigation, advisory services, M&A-related matters, and asset transfers.

Strong knowledge of statutory policies and regulations related to employment law in India.

Proven track record in conducting thorough employment law audits and due diligence.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Strong negotiation and client management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Law degree from a recognized university; additional certifications in employment law are a plus.
