Aquis Search has been mandated to identify an experienced” Regulatory Lead” to lead the Regulatory & Compliance function for an Indian stock exchange in Mumbai. This is a unique opportunity to Develop, Implement and Oversee Regulatory Strategies related to Listing and programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws for the Listing function of the exchange.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for representing Listing regulatory function to the board, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Managing the various functions under the Listing Regulatory Team and providing strategic direction for driving deliverable and new initiatives.

Responsible for delegating, mentoring, and ensuring achievement of implementation of set objectives  within set timelines with high level of efficiency.

Integrating Listing Regulatory Compliance into business strategies and operations by collaborating with various stakeholders across various functions.

Interactions with Regulators on all the policy-related issues, being part of the Committee advocacy based on fairness and needs of the market.

Representing Statutory Regulatory Committees, coordinating with Committee members.

Monitoring Regulatory developments and changes, assessing their impact on the organisation and mitigate potential regulatory risks.

Ensuring that the organisations operations, products and services, internal policies and procedures are aligned and compliant with the regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary preferred

Or MBA / Post Graduate Diploma (2year full time program)

Minimum 20 years of experience in Regulatory affairs, compliance, or a related field with preferably 5 years in a leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the exchange.
